Grace Remington

I’m passionate about helping people put words to feelings they don’t yet understand, especially those who feel like square pegs in round holes. Whether through my writing or coaching, I strive to offer empathy, clarity, and a sense of belonging for those living at the intersections of identity, family, career, and personal growth. My mission is simple: to help others find their belonging and self-worth. I write and coach for people who value vulnerability, courage, authenticity, and connection. If that’s you, welcome—I’m glad you’re here.

I've always been a square peg in a round hole.  My journey has been to realize that and then be at peace with it.

Knowing myself is a nonnegotiable

I’m Grace—a writer, attorney, coach, wife, and mother of twin boy/girl toddlers, navigating life outside the U.S. with curiosity and courage. I hold a law degree from Duquesne University School of Law and a bachelor’s in sociology from George Washington University. I’m an accredited coach through the International Coaching Federation and an alum of George Mason University’s Leadership Coaching for Organizational Well-Being program as well as the Awaken Coaching Institute. Outside of law, writing, and coaching, I’m a certified yoga, barre, and meditation instructor, a lifelong vegetarian, and an international travel enthusiast who’s always up for new experiences. Yes, I have been called an “overachiever” before, but inside I still feel like I haven’t achieved enough.

After a decade of working as an immigration attorney with the Department of Homeland Security and the Department of State’s Foreign Service, I found myself at an unexpected career crossroads due to the seismic shifts in federal workforce policies resulting from the January 2025 presidential executive orders. Resilient by practice and strengthened by experience, I choose to see this shift as an opportunity to lean into other passions—writing and coaching—reimagining my vocation as one centered on supporting individuals who are in transition, struggling with identity, or seeking to align their lives with their values.
